Recharge Your Leadership Workshop:

Tackling Burnout Culture & Owning Well-Being At Work.
Workshop Length: 90 Minutes.

Why this matters:

In the face of growing pressures and challenges, exhaustion, fatigue, and burnout are becoming increasingly common in individuals and organisations worldwide. As leaders, it’s more important than ever to support the well-being of our staff, but we can’t do this effectively if we’re not taking care of ourselves first..

What to expect:

This workshop takes a deep dive into the core dimensions of well-being - physical, emotional, organisational, existential - with a particular focus on leadership.

Through exploring your personal values, you will piece together practical strategies for renewing your internal energy, so you can recharge, replenish, repair, and restore, becoming a more effective leader, partner, and friend.

Leading with Values Workshop:

Workshop Length: 90 Minutes.

Why this matters:

Great leaders always carry a clarity of values, and do more than profess their values, they practice them. Part of that means identifying what to do when life gets in the way. For leaders to change culture in hospitality, they need to be clear on their values. And more importantly, they need to intentionally action these values every day.

What to expect:

In this workshop, we will spend time exploring and identifying values.You and your teams will explore their own values, take part in reflection exercises, and practice vulnerability through sharing. By the end of this session, you’ll have a chance to learn more about the people you work with, reflect on values, and understand what authenticity looks like to you.

Coaching & Mentoring 101 Workshop:

Workshop Length: 4 Hours, 1 Hour Pre-Work Required.
This workshop is capped at 30 attendees.

Why this matters:

At Healthy Hospo, we believe everyone can be a leader, and one of the critical skills a leader possesses is the ability to coach others (team members, peers, leaders, stakeholders).

What to expect:

If you are looking to elevate your ability to mentor, coach and provide feedback - this course is for you.

This interactive Coaching 101 workshop has been designed to introduce you to coaching and give you the skills you need to be able to coach effectively. A half day 4 hour practical workshop, with 1 hour pre-work required by all attendees. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to practice coaching amongst your peers, observe others and receive real time feedback.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll leave armed with tools, templates and a better understanding of communicating effectively.

Stress & How To Take Back Control Workshop:

Workshop Length: 90 Minutes. (With An Option To Extend)

Why this matters:

We all face stress every day, and working in hospitality presents us with unique forms of stress. It can be exacerbated through long hours, poor sleep, angry customers, social media and so forth.

We are all told stress is bad. Chronic stress can lead to an array of diseases. But what if understanding how to work with stress can actually make it good for you? And how do we start taking back control? This workshop is for anyone wanting to learn about stress, and redefine their relationship with it.

What to expect:

In this interactive workshop, we will learn actionable tools to mitigate stress and understand the science of stress and its effects it has on the body and mind. This will be followed by a meditative breath work journey inward. You will learn about:

- Stress and inflammation
- how it first developed in humans, and the role it plays in our lives.
- Implications of chronic stress on your life, relationships and work, and how to take action.
- Understanding emotions, trauma and the autonomic nervous system.
- Depression, anxiety, and how to work through these.
- Meditative breath work journey inward.

Participants will leave with actionable tools & techniques they can use in everyday life to help deal with, stress, trauma and heightened situations in work. This workshop can be extended to 3 hours, to include interactive journaling exercises.

With our capacity being stretched seemingly more than ever, having the right tools in the toolkit to tackle these situations is crucial.

What to expect:

This workshop is designed to provide a better understanding of our mental well-being and explore what might be contributing to situations where we aren’t thriving or feeling like our best selves. An array of tools and solutions will be discussed to help outline what can work to improve your mental well-being.

Everyone’s’ situation is different, but a good foundation of skills will set you right for the future and go about your mental well-being with confidence.

Nutrition Workshop:

Unlock Your Potential Through Smart Eating.
Workshop Length: 90 Minutes.

Why this matters:

Nutrition plays a fundamental role in overall health, affecting not only physical well-being but also cognitive function, emotional balance, and long-term vitality. This workshop highlights the significant impact of nutrition on stress, inflammation, energy levels, and overall performance in various aspects of life. Understanding the relationship between food choices and their effects on the body is crucial for making informed decisions that support health, productivity, and goal achievement.

What to expect:

Participants can expect an interactive exploration of key topics related to nutrition and its impact on health and performance. Through engaging presentations, discussions, and interactive activities, attendees will learn about the role of nutrition in managing stress and inflammation, the concept of calories and macronutrients, and the importance of micronutrients for optimal functioning. The workshop will also cover the effects of overeating, undereating, added sugar, and cravings, as well as the significance of fasting and the potential pitfalls of fad diets and processed foods. Communication Workshop:

Everything They Should Have Taught You At School.
Workshop Length: 90 Minutes.

Why this matters:

Communicating effectively is one of life’s great skills. It can help you be a better leader, improve your chances for promotion, build better relationships and be a trait of a great friend, parent, and partner.You’d think it would be easy… But often, it’s not.

Through attending this workshop, you will develop your skills using strategies which support open, healthy, and constructive communication.You will also learn about the evidence-based benefits of practicing self-compassion and techniques to cultivate healthy inner dialogue, helping to develop a more positive relationship with yourself and others.

What to expect:

-Explore compassionate communication as a tool for approaching difficult conversations openly and constructively and identifying unmet needs which lead to conflict and tension.

-Practice other powerful listening and conversational strategies to improve the quality of your connections through clear communication and deepened understanding.-Learn the three pillars of mindful self-compassion, tools to implement them in times of struggle and how this helps us be more courageous.

Introduction to Mindfulness workshop:

Workshop Length: 90 Minutes.

Why this matters:

Mindfulness is a practice that has been around for about 2,500 years. It’s a practice that helps us build resilience, hold space for emotions and navigate life’s challenges. It’s also a great skill that with practice, can positively impact your life, work, personal relationships and all those things you are passionate about.

What to expect:

In this workshop, you’ll learn all about:
The science of mind, to help us better understand stress and anxiety.
The nature of thought and working with human emotions. Mindfulness practices to cultivate presence, and train our brain!How we can bring mindfulness into our days to reduce stress and support more meaningful connections

Who this is for:

Anyone, at any level who’d like to strengthen mental tools to regulate emotions, process stress, and build better connections with yourself and those you love.Owners, managers, chefs, senior staff, and junior staff.

Movement for Resilience workshop:

Workshop Length: 120 Minutes.

Why this matters:

So many of us today are faced with depression, anxiety, and so much more. We are also taking longer to recover from sickness and injuries.

Regular movement, through enjoyable activities like exercise and physical activity, plays a key role in making life better in several ways. It helps us feel less stressed, boosts our mood, and keeps our minds sharp by releasing feel-good chemicals like endorphins and neurotransmitters. Plus, it’s a great way to connect with others and have fun. Moving regularly also keeps our hearts strong, helps us manage our weight, and keeps our bones healthy, all of which contribute to a longer, happier, and more resilient life.

What to expect:

In this interactive workshop, we will discuss the importance of movement on one’s physical and mental health and develop strategies for participants to implement movement in their lives to help with longevity and mental health.

We’ll go through a 60 minute workshop, covering movement and it’s impact on longevity, anxiety, and depression. Understanding our hormones, and the role of muscles. The relationship between fascia and trauma. Why you should stretch. And how to prevent injury. Participants will be able to leave this session and able to come up with a structured movement plan for themselves so that they can show up as the best version of themselves in all that they do.

This will be followed by 60 minutes of ‘exercise’ which can range from basic movement patterns, mobility, or a workout tailored to your group’s needs.

A Good Nights Sleep Workshop:

Workshop Length: 90 Minutes.

What happens to your mind & body when you sleep? Why is it so important? And what can you do to fall asleep faster?

Why this matters:

Sleep is the single most important thing you can do for your physical and mental health, yet sometimes the most underrated and overlooked part of our day.

It’s the foundation of improving general health and life span.

In other words: the better you sleep, the better you live.

What to expect:

In this session you’ll learn about sleep cycles, and how each stage of sleep impacts different areas of our mental and physical health. You’ll also learn about how to hack your sleep to improve training, memory and physical repair. Finally, we’ll also cover strategies and science backed solutions to sleep faster, and more efficiently.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll leave with many tools to improve your sleep, and a whole new perspective on catching zzz’s.
